There is now a way to make it so mobile app users can subscribe to client event calendars directly on their phones via the app. The intended way to utilize this feature will be through attaching the relevant calendar subscription links to buttons/banners in the app.
Some general information about this feature:
By subscribing, the app user will stay up to date with any new events that are added or if there are changes to existing events
Updates to Client Event Calendars are pulled in once per day
Apple and Android devices will each have their own link (aka 2 links per calendar)
Calendars subscription links can be divided up by child org
Ex: college clients can utilize calendar links specific to each sport so the app user only subscribes to events for sports that they want to keep track of
Ex: theaters can utilize calendar links specific to each venue so the app user only subscribes to events at the theater they normally attend
Apple calendar links will default to have the app user add the client event calendar to their native iOS calendar
Android calendar links will default to have the app user add the client event calendar to their Google Calendar

App User Workflow: Subscribing to Calendar (iOS Link)
Navigate to the page within the app that has the Calendar Subscription buttons, then click on the iOS Calendar button
A popup will appear prompting you to subscribe to the calendar. The ics file is automatically populated into the SUBSCRIPTION URL field. Click on Subscribe.
The next screen will present you with info/customization options for the calendar. Here you will see things such as what the calendar will be titled, how many events will be immediately added, what color they will appear in, etc. Once you are satisfied with the values in these fields, click Add.
The calendar will now be added to the list of active calendars in your phone – and the events should have immediately been added as well (potentially a delay if the calendar has a ton of events).
App User Workflow: Subscribing to Calendar (Android Link)
Navigate to the page within the app that has the Calendar Subscription buttons, then click on the Android Calendar button
This will direct you to a webview of your Google Calendar and will prompt you to subscribe to the new calendar associated with the link you just clicked.
Use your fingers to zoom in on the ‘Add calendar’ popup (to make sure you click the right button since they are initially small), then click Add.
You will now see the calendar has been added to the left side of your screen as an available calendar and the events will populate in (might be a little bit of a delay if the calendar has a ton of events)
