Within the FanThreeSixty platform, a fan is defined as a record with at least one valid contact method: email, phone or mobile app.
By default Audiences will be set to segment on fans so your counts are more accurate and reflective of your true fan base. FanThreeSixty automatically filters out invalid or incomplete records.
We will also automatically hide any invalid contact information on a fan's profile in a list or info panel.
What if I need to see records that don't meet the fan definition?
You can change the setting in your Smart Group builder by selecting “Records” in the dropdown at the top of the center panel. This will give you a group of any record that meets your criteria, whether or not it includes valid contact information.
We recommend only using this setting for specific purposes, such as getting an overall activation count or analyzing a source in order to improve data quality.
For an individual record, you can find invalid contact information on the "Fan Details" tab, in case you need to see how you learned about this record, or troubleshoot an issue.
