Here’s how you can join two profiles that should be the same person or unlink a profile that really belongs to more than one person.
Manually merge two profiles
When you find two profiles that belong to the same person, you can make them link to each other by making sure that they share a name and an email or phone number.
Go to one of the profiles you need to merge and click “All profile info.”
Make sure the first and last name match between the two profiles. If it doesn’t, you can edit this fan’s name at the top of the page.
Add an email or a phone number that is on the profile you want to link this one to and click Save.
The two profiles will be merged together, including any other contact information, attributes, tags and notes. You may need to refresh the page once or twice to see all the updates.
Manually unlink two profiles
When you find a profile that belongs to more than one person, you can manually split them apart by removing contact information they have in common.
Go to the profile you want to split and click “All profile info.”
Under contact information, click the link to show all source records
Find the source record that doesn’t belong and click the “more” button, then click Detach record.
You’ll be prompted to remove the contact information that links this card to the other ones. Find the email or phone number that is shared between this card and the other source records, and remove it. You may need to repeat this step for other source record cards.
Once you’ve detached all the source records that don’t belong, you should be able to find them as their own profile(s). You may need to refresh the page once or twice to see all the updates.
