UTM (Universal Tracking Mercator) Codes are a text string that can be added to the end of a URL in order to help track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns. UTM Codes can be created via Google Analytics and used to help track the traffic from your mobile app to a given link.
It is extremely important to be able to track where your marketing has been successful and where fans are purchasing tickets. Utilizing UTM Codes make this easy to do. In order to track who is buying tickets from within the App, you can created and associate UTM codes to the ticketing URLs on Banners + Comms within the app. Using Google Analytics, you can track the specific revenue made on a single URL.
