Introduction
The Sales/Marketing Rep role has been expanded and refined to better match the real-world needs of sales teams. Sales and Marketing Reps now have the access they need to do their jobs effectively, while managers and administrators can be confident that only appropriate actions are available to each role.
What’s New for Sales/Marketing Reps
Sales Reps now have more capabilities, but with clear boundaries to protect program integrity and data. Key updates include:
View and filter all fans in any Program Fan List, regardless of assignment.
Update fan status and leave notes in any program, whether or not assigned as the rep.
See all programs in the Programs List, even if not assigned to any fans in those programs.
Bulk update fans in Manage List, except for program assignment/re-assignment.
Cannot create new programs through the retargeting modal.
View Only access to Relationship Management controls and functionality.
Cannot assign, reassign, or unassign themselves or others within a program. Only Sales Managers can perform these actions.
Key Capabilities of a Sales/Marketing Manager
Sales Managers have broader access and control, including:
Assign, reassign, and unassign leads within any program.
Create, edit, and delete programs as needed.
Full access to Relationship Management controls, including adding, editing, or removing reps.
Bulk update and manage lists for all fans and programs.
View and filter all fans and programs across the platform.
Step-by-Step: What Sales/Marketing Reps Can Do
Go to the Programs List to view all available programs.
Select any program to see its Fan List and filter fans by assignment or status.
Click a fan to update their status or leave a note.
Use Manage List for bulk updates (except program assignment).
Access Relationship Management in View Only mode.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Why can’t I assign or reassign a lead?
Only Sales/Marketing Managers can assign, reassign, or unassign leads. Contact your manager if you need changes.
Why can’t I create a new program?
Sales/Marketing Reps do not have permission to create programs. This is restricted to Sales Managers.
