Q: How can I limit who is able to send out mass Mass Texting?
Only FanThreeSixty Platform administrators are able to send out Mass Texting.
Q: Am I able to schedule a mass text ahead of time?
Yes, a mass text can be scheduled within the message creation.
Q: Am I able to migrate my previous list of fans who have opted in to marketing texting?
Yes, users can import lists of fans using the Settings > Imports workflow in the Fan Data Platform. For larger, more complex lists, we're always here to help.
Q: How fast can Mass Texts be sent?
Minimum of 14,400 messages sent at one-time (1 hour processing time), and up to a maximum of 270,000 messages sent at one-time (1 hour processing time). This rate is dependent on an organization’s Trust Score as assigned during standard brand registration. If a Trust Score is lower than anticipated, users can request secondary vetting to appeal the Trust Score. However, there is no guarantee that the Trust Score will increase. Additional information.
Q: Is there a limit on the number of contacts I can send texts to for Mass Texting?
No.
Q: Can I send out a text to a pre-built audience?
No, today you cannot. You can only send to fans who have opted in to Mass Texting via the standard SMS/Text Message Audience.
Q: What details can I track on sent Mass Texts?
Within the platform, you can track how many messages were sent, how many patrons were reached and number of unsubscribes.
Q: Can I send direct links to any ticketed event via Mass Texting?
Yes! We encourage you to include links to any ticketed event pages.
Q: Is there a character limit for individual texts?
A single text can contain up to 160 characters. Anything between 160-320 characters will display to fans as a single message, but will count as two segments and be charged as two SMS messages with the carrier. Sending messages shorter than 320 characters will ensure the best deliverability and user experience.
Q: If I send one text, will that translate to one text from the messaging provider?
Not necessarily, the number of “texts” sent from the messaging provider are counted as segments based on character count, emojis and multimedia. You can see the number of segments sent in a message in the “Subject” pane of the edit message screen.
Q: Can I include photos and/or videos in my bulk messages?
Yes, a single Multimedia Message Service (MMS) can support up to 10 attachments, as long as the total size of the message body text and all attachments is less than 5 MB.

Q: Can I send out a message to a pre-built audience?
When users Opt-In they will be added to the standard SMS/Text audience, custom filters can be applied to narrow this audience, then selected on the message builder screen.
Q: How can I grow my fanbase who is opted in for marketing messaging?
A FanThreeSixty Form can be used within a Comm, sent out via email, posted on client owned websites or shared on social media. Form responses can be amended to the SMS Text Audience.
