Users may now update their fans solicitation statuses in bulk by importing data files via FanThreeSixty’s Data Imports workflow in the platform. See the Import a Data File article for instructions for using this workflow.
Updating a Fan’s solicitation status allows the platform to automatically flag fan’s profiles as solicitable or not solicitable so that fans who have opted out of solicitations will not receive texts messages when a rep is sending mass texts.
Importing a file to update texting solicitation statuses
Click on your account icon at the top right of FanThreeSixty, click Settings and then click Imports
On the Imports page, click the New Import button
Name your import. This is what you'll use to identify the data set in the Audience builder and on fan profiles.
Upload your file: Make sure the file is in the correct format (either .CSV or Excel) so all of your attributes can be mapped correctly.
Map your fields: Choose the FanThreeSixty attribute that most closely matches each column in your file. Choose your unique identifier: This is the column we’ll use to identify individual rows in your import.
Choose your Data Source: When importing a data file to update it is important to select the correct data source. The three available options are:
All Texting Solicitation - Used if updating both mass and 1:1 texting statuses
Mass Texting Solicitation - Used if updating only mass texting statuses
1:1 Texting Solicitation - Used if updating only 1:1 texting statuses
