Shopify Authorization Guide (Knowledge Center)

FanThreeSixty data integration with Shopify is intended to migrate Fans that are identified in Shopify and bring them over to FanThreeSixty along with their transaction history and information about associated purchases. Centralizing the Fan data into the FanThreeSixty Fan Data Platform will improve fan insights and actionability on your fans. 

Authorization Instructions

1. Access the Apps section of your Shopify Store's admin console.

   1. Settings >> Apps and sales channels

   2. 

      Select ‘Develop apps’ in the upper right corner (next to Shopify App Store)

   3. Select ‘Create an app’

   4. Enter your app name, for example, 'FTS Shopify'

   5. Please note the App Developer will be the rep within your organization responsible for the Shopify integration

      

2. At this point, the app has been created. Next, the ‘scope’ of the application has to be defined so that the right data will come across the API into FanThreeSixty.

   1. Click on the ‘Configure Admin API scopes’ option

   2. Under the 'Admin API' section, set the following to be Read:

      1. Customers

      2. Orders

      3. Product Listings

      4. Products

         

   3. Click ‘Save’

3. Click ‘Install App’

   1. 

      Copy all three values from this API Credentials Screen

      1. NOTE: The access token is only visible once and has a ‘shpat_…' as a preface to the remaining string of values.

4. Copy the store URL

   1. NOTE: Double-check the URL for the store. Some organizations pay for premium URLs. Copy the URL that includes ‘storename.myshopify.com’. The connection will not work with the premium/vanity URLs.

   2. Example:

      1. el-paso-locomotive-fc-team-shop.myshopify.com

5. Test the connection in N8N (https://n8n.fanthreesixty.com/workflow )

   1. Drop a Shopify node onto the canvas

      1. 

   2. Create New Access Token credential

   3. Enter in details

   4. Hit save. A green confirmation message will appear when successfully authenticated.
