By appending the following to the end of a url, other sites will receive the FTS customer's ID in the URL. This can be used to help identify which fans are coming from your mobile app to purchase items from your digital shops.
Add the following to the end of your url:
FTS_id=:customerId
An example weblink to a squareSpace:
https://flamboyance-324797.square.site/shop/new-arrivals/15# FTS_id=:customerId
Another example from Shopify:
https://fanthreesixty.myshopify.com/all-products/usa ?FTS_id=:customerId
To track the impact of fans using this method is dependent on the system being used and how you are tracking web traffic today. Common examples are the third party vendor has reporting themselves (i.e. Shopify) or the vendor supports adding tracking codes (i.e. Google Analytics tracking).
The following screenshot shows Shopify reporting UI revealing key details for tracking / reporting originating source.
Google Analytics also can identify originating sources from incoming web traffic.
